Daniel and Robert push for position

Daniel moves up and Robert gets a spin

Race date: 29th to 31st August - Brands Hatch Indy (DTM)

Race one 

Daniel made a good start from the 5^th row on the grid; he then had a constant battle with Adam Foster lap after lap, eventually beating him to the line by 200^th of a second to claim 7^th position, winning the Performance Friction trophy for the highest placed rookie.

A suspension failure in qualifying meant Robert had to start from the back of the grid; He didn’t get the best start as the lighting gantry was not even in his view, however he had a solid race picking up two places by the chequered flag.

Race two

Robert again had the problem of the start lights being unsighted but he still managed to have a consistent race gaining three positions by the flag.

Daniel didn’t seem to have the pace he had in race one, but he did battle with Adam Foster throughout the race again, this time Adam just beating him to the line.

Race three

Daniel had a steady performance but just couldn’t seem to find the pace he had in race one, so only managed to maintain his starting position to the flag, but was still quite positive about the weekend having gained two places in the Championship.

Robert was having his best race of the weekend in a good points scoring position when, unfortunately contact from Russell Bolesworth at Paddock Hill bend sent them both spinning off into the gravel trap.
