All is fair in brotherly love and war!
Brown brothers prepare for FPA season opener
With less than a week to go until the start of the Formula
Palmer Audi season at Donington Park, tension is mounting for all the
drivers. However, the Brown household will be twice as nervous come
Sunday, as they have two competitors in this year's championship!
Daniel and Robert Brown, from Billericay in Essex, are only the second set
of brothers ever to enter the Formula Palmer Audi Championship.

The siblings had their first official test at last week's FPA season
launch, and both Daniel and Robert are eager to put their Momo-backed cars
through their paces at Donington Park this weekend.
16 year-old Daniel, who is the youngest competitor in this year's FPA
field, was the quicker of the two brothers in last week's test.
"I was pleased with my stamina but I've got to build up my strength, so
I've been in the gym preparing for Donington this weekend," Daniel added.
"My main aim is to finish all three races and not damage the car, although
it would be good to get some top 15 or top 10 finishes."

For Daniel's older brother Robert, last week's test was a chance for the
19 year-old to adjust to driving a single-seater after competing in last
year's Renault Clio Cup. Robert is confident that his pace will improve as
the season progresses: "I didn't use the boost button at all so I feel
I've got more to give," he said. "My main aim for Donington Park this
weekend is to keep it on track and try not to crash!"
"Daniel's a bit quicker than me, so for now I'm going to set my sights on
improving my times and getting some top 10 finishes. However I'd like to
catch him up and try and beat him as the season goes on," Robert
concluded.
