Daniel and Robert Brown compete at SPA-Francorchamps

Daniel and Robert Brown earned their championship points at the weekend, proving the brothers have got what it takes by taking home several trophy's between them.

The practise runs went reasonably well, with the main focus of learning the track as this was a first for both Daniel and Robert.

Race one

Daniel started from 17th and pushed hard in the first four laps to take seven places and then went on to take the chequered flag finishing 10th. Daniel was awarded the Roger Brown Trophy for the most places gained.

Robert had some high speed action spinning into Raidillon at around 130mph, Robert got straight back into the action finishing 17th.

Race two

Daniel had a poor start dropping him down from 8th to 13th, working through the pack gave Daniel 9th just before the safety car was despatched due to an incident. Back on track in the final lap Daniel passed Alex Brundle to secure 8th place, finishing immediately behind ITV F1 commentator and ex-F1 driver Martin Brundle. Daniel received the Performance Friction Cup for the highest place single-seater Rookie and the Signs and Graphics Cup for most improved qualifying position.

Robert claimed nine positions after battling through the crowd to finish 13th. His efforts did not go unnoticed and was awarded the Roger Brown Trophy for the most places gained.

Race three

Daniel worked up to ninth and was ready to claim a few more positions, but the car setup proved unsuccessful causing a drop to 14th. Daniel finished with an overall Championship position of 9th with 68 points.

Robert found this race hard work, but was happy to finish the race 20th and in one piece. The Signs and Graphics Cup was awarded to Robert for most improved qualifying position, adding yet another trophy to the bag.
