Daniel steps up a gear and Robert picks up the pace

Race date: Round 15 - 17th August - Snetterton circuit

Race one 

Daniel made a strong start and kept up with the front pack for the first half of the race. Picking up the pace Daniel claimed a position before the line, where he finished 6th for his best result to date. He also received the Mountune Racing Trophy for most improved position. Robert started out 14th which was his best start position to date, with a positive race and on pace moving up to 12th achieving his highest finish to date.

Race two

Robert got the rubber down in wet and slippery conditions, passing Daniel from the start. He had a steady performance until the last lap, where Robert saw the opportunity on the last corner  to overtake Vibe Smed, where he finished 15th. Daniel had a slow start dropping to 15th, within two laps he had carved his way back to 8th. With Daniel pushing hard setting 10 consecutive fastest laps. Quickly closing in on Alex Brundle who was in 7th, exiting Russells Daniel pulled alongside but was forced onto the grass at around 130mph causing the vehicle to take a spectacular flight across the line. Daniel clinched 7th place after Brundle was later excluded.

Race three

Daniel made a solid start, only dropping one position into the first corner, holding onto 6th position.  A few setup issues with the car restricted his race pace, causing a drop to 8th by the finish. Although Daniel did pick up The Signs and Graphics Cup for most improved qualifying position. Robert spun out on the 1st lap at the Esses trying to avoid another competitor, this left him right at the back on a soul mission to rejoin the pack. Unfortunately he was faced with an empty track for the remainder of the race, Robert remarked " I still managed to score a point".
